The StoveFactory Gallery
About the Gallery
The AGC's StoveFactory Gallery is the only non-proft art gallery in Charlestown. Our volunteer AGC Gallery Committee holds three annual open and public Calls-to-Artists for themed group exhibitions that attract artists and audiences from all over the Greater Boston area. In additon, the committee hosts AGC Artist Member solo/duo/group exhibits.
Our AGC-sponsored exhibitions are free and open to the public to attend. To learn about any upcoming calls for art, exhibitions, and opening receptions, please subscribe to our free e-newsletter by scrolling to the bottom of this page to sign up on our Mailing List.
The StoveFactory Gallery is available for rental by artists (for thesis shows, solo shows, etc.) and events. The gallery is 950-square feet, located on the first floor of a 19th century 3-story brick factory building with an industrial feel. Restrooms are available. The wide-open entry hall and unique gallery, with semi-exposed brick walls, painted cement floor, and high exposed beam ceiling is a great complement and background for art of all scales, sizes, and styles. Five movable wall panels and seven movable pedestals are available as part of the rental. Our professional adjustable track lighting on dimmers and our professional art-hanging wire system will elevate the presentation of your art. Please contact us HERE if you would like to inquire about renting the StoveFactory Gallery.
